You wake up in a dark hospital room. Slowly you look around. How did you get here? Why are you here? You have no memory of the past 48 hours. All you remember is a dinner party at mayor Elfman's house.
As you lie in het hospital bed, you consider your options:

As you lie in the hospital bed, you try to remember what happened at the dinner party. It had all seemed like a normal evening. Mayor Elfman had organized the party as a thank you to the chancellor and management of the Miskantonic University for naming a wing in the building after him. The wing was to be used by staff and students of the Occult Studies Department.
You remember talking to the chancellor about this ancient book you'd been studying and how you thought it was a book of spells and rituals. The chancellor had laughed at you and had reprimanded you for actually believing that. You remember showing a picture of the book on your phone to the chancellor and reading the text in the book out loud.
The only thing you remember next is waking up in the hospital bed.

You get out of bed and search the room. The room is dark and dirty, but in the corner you find something that looks like a backpack. In it you find a phone, which you recognize as your own. As you search through the latest apps opened, you see the last app you used was the Gallery. You click on it and see a picture of an old book. Of course! This is the occult book you've been studying. You showed the picture to the chancellor of your university at the dinner party and he had laughed at you for believing it was a book of spells and rituals. You must have read the text in the book and unleashed some sort of ancient evil!

You run through the door. In the hallway you stop to look around you. The hospital seems deserted. The lights are flickering, there's debris everywhere and... is that blood on the wall?

When you get to the reception, you find the main doors barricaded. This is not your way out. As you ponder your next steps, you see something move in the corner. Before you realize it, a demon attacks you! Though you fight bravely, you are no match for the hellspawn. The last thing you see before you close your eyes for good, is the crooked smile on the demon's hidious face...
THE ENDYou enter a random room that's connected to the hallway. As you make out a shape in the corner of the room, you realize with great shock that it's the body of a nurse. Her face has been mutilated and she's missing several limbs. Horrified you run out of the room and enter [[another one.|room 2]]<img src="images/mayorroom.jpg" />
Upon entering the room you hear a muffled sound. You realize the sound is coming from underneath the hospital bed. You bend down and find mayor Elfman in foetal position against the wall. "Mayor, it's me," you say, as you help him stand up. "Thank goodness you're still alive," he sighs. "I had almost lost hope." You ask him what happened at the dinner party, how you both ended up at the hospital and where the other party attendees are. "You don't remember, do you? Well, I was talking to one of your colleagues and I heard the chancellor laugh very loudly. You were showing him something on your phone and he was laughing at you. Next thing I know, the lights went out, a foul smell started to penetrate my nostrils and I heard a growling sound. I don't know where they came from, but all of a sudden we were surrounded by demonlike creatures. They started to rip everyone apart, starting with the chancellor. I ran towards the backdoor and you did the same. We both ran through the garden and as we looked over our shoulders, we saw the demons climbing out of the mansion and dispercing in all directions. We decided to run to the hospital, hoping we would be safe from the creatures there. But they followed us. As carnage erupted all around us, you decided to hide in a hospital room down the corridor. Before joining you there, I decided to try and find some knifes or other weapons we could use to defend ourselfs. But I never made it back to your room. The demons were everywhere so I hid in this room. I had just about lost hope you were still alive until now."
You grab the mayor by his hand to lead him back into the hallway, but he refuses. "I'm not going out there, I'd feel much safer here until some sort of rescue team arrives."
